I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
